Last weekend we had a very quick visit from some of our favorite people it the world, the Haslam’s.
We met the Haslam’s when we both lived in Renton 2 years ago. Jessica and I became fast friends because we both had busy 2 year old boys and new babies. Living in Seattle can often be lonely and exhausting with so much rain and little kiddos. Jessica and I were always up for an adventure if it kept our little boys busy. We did so many fun things together like blueberry picking, the aquarium, the zoo, hosted play dates the pumpkin patch or the museum of flight.
Not our little boys are big boys and our babies are almost 3! And Jessica has a new baby boy!
We had a wonderful busy time at the aquarium, just like the old days.

Those times with Jessica were some of the greatest of my life. She saved me from a sad lonely life. She helped me to be a better Mother. She talked me into buying clothes I would never have picked out. She showed me how to be an amazing friend.I will always be grateful for the person I’ve become because she was my friend.
Now sadly they have moved to Portland and we don’t get to see them nearly enough. But when ever we have a chance to get together we pick right up where we left off.
