I didn’t always plan that I would end up in newborn photography. Growing up I was obsessed with weddings. And if I would to have made a guess, there was no doubt that I would have picked wedding photography. But newborn photography just kind of happened to me, and I have loved it from the very first moment.
I can’t imagine anything better than snuggling a sweet little newborn and capturing beautiful picture that will be treasured for a lifetime.
There are so many tiny little things that make up why I love newborn photography, but here are a few.
Capturing details that would have otherwise been forgotten.
Using items that have special meaning. Atticus’ last name is Toala, and as a nick name they call him Toala Bear. And that tea cup, Mom had it for YEARS and moved it several times planning on one day taking that picture.
I love special nursery details, special books and the quilt Grandma made.
But most of all I love a Mother with her new baby. There is a tangible feeling of love when you see a Mom snuggle and love on her new baby. When they look at their baby they are amazed that they grew that perfect little person inside of them. They knew them before anyone else, and waited so long to meet them. No love compares to that of a Mother’s.
