Much to my protesting, summer eventually came to an end. We loved the freedom of no schedule, warm summer days and spending so much time together. But all good things come to an end and by the time school started both boys were ready to head back to school.
Last Wednesday Eli started Kindergarten. I is hard for me to believe that he is really old enough for Kindergarten. Our school has all day Kindergarten, something that I was very apprehensive about. But Eli has thrived in Kindergarten and loved all of the fun activities he gets to participate in.
Logan was so excited for Eli to get to go to school.
Then yesterday Logan got his turn to go to school. He work up at 6:00 AM dancing with excitement. Logan has been waiting to go to Preschool since Eli started last year. He was ready to go!
I asked him to show me his Mickey shirt, he showed me his belly instead.
Eli and Logan’s schools are just a block apart. It is going to be wonderful to drop off Logan and then walk across the street and drop off Eli. I’m still not sure how I feel about being child free on a regular basis, but I think I’ll be just fine.
