Monday night after we had put the boys to bed we hear footsteps upstairs. The footsteps were followed by a little voice with a simple request.
“Mom and Dad, I’ve been thinking about it all day and I think we should go to Chuck’s for doughnuts in the morning.”
When we lived in Renton Chuck’s was our favorite doughnut place. Chuck’s are the best doughnuts we have ever eaten and we kind of doughnut snobs.
Chuck’s is a little bit far for us now, but when the boys woke up unfortunately early then next morning we decided to find a doughnut place in our new neighborhood.
The boys loved the excitement of doughnuts for breakfast. Even Logan was exited even though he can’t eat doughnuts, what a trooper! I think we have a new tradition on our hands.
The boys were pretty obsessed that it looked like a library. We were eating in the library, how rebellious!
