THE END OF THE SCHOOL 2014

About a week and half ago the school year ended. It was a busy wonderful week. Dan had finals for the week and a half prior. So by the time the end came we were more than ready!

I was really stressed about picking a preschool for Eli. It felt like we were determining his whole future success by our preschool choice. In the end we made the right choice. Whirlwinds was the right choice for him. He has grown so much emotionally and academically in the last year. He loves to learn and he is already reading books on his own. Every time he opens a book or reads a street sign to me I think that he must be faking it. Reading came so easily to him it is hard to believe. He loves to color, paint and create beautiful art projects. It has a wonderful year of growing and learning at Whirlwinds Preschool.

Here is the difference between the first and last day of preschool. My has he grown!

Logan firmly believes that he is part of the Preschool class too! We would come early to pick up Eli everyday so that Logan could be part of story time and the Goodbye to your Friends song. Logan would always come in and sit next to Eli to listen to the story. Eli always welcomed him sweetly to sit next to him, what a sweet big brother.

The week after school ended both boys started a soccer class. Eli has taken several UK Petite class in the past, but this was Logan’s first time in the class. It really is so fun to have them both in the same class. This will probably be the only time they will get to play together. Eli is start on a team in the fall.

They played a pirate game and Logan was very good about keeping his eye patch on.

One of my favorite things about watching both boys in the same class is watching them both stick out their tongues while they run!

It was a great first day of soccer class. Too bad when we had class last night Logan had been woken up from his nap and cried the whole time. Better luck next week!
