It has been so long since I blogged on this little site that I almost forgot how to log in! This summer has been absolutely crazy. We moved 6 weeks ago and we have already been back to Seattle twice and Portland once, my Mom has had two heart surgeries, and my sister stayed with us for 10 days! Dan has his first real day as a dentist today and my big boys start school next week. I am ready to get back to a routine and my business.
This session happened just a few days before we left Seattle. My beloved Fisher family came up to Seattle for 1 more magical session before I moved. The light was absolutely dreamy and the company was even better. They really are some of my favorite people in the world. Amy very quickly went from a client to a friend when I did Everett’s newborn pictures. She is one of the happiest, most genuine people I have ever met. I consider myself so lucky that I get to be her friend and photographer. It really has been a wonderful almost 4 years capturing their sweet family. And I will come running back to Seattle anytime they need pictures!
This little boy has had my heart since his newborn session. He slept like a perfect angel until the very end of his session. He opened those big, curious eyes and just started at me. He instantly knew that I wasn’t a familiar person. He didn’t fuss or get upset, he just stared at me. He didn’t take his eyes off of me until I felt.

Not to toot my own horn, okay maybe just a little, this picture received first place at the North Idaho State fair as well as 2nd place over all. It’s not hard to see why, this little girl is an absolute beauty.
Their relationship has come a long way in the last year. I can safely say they are pretty fond of each other!
