Last weekend we took a little visit to Portland to visit the Haslam’s, our people! It has been really hard on me living here in Seattle since they moved back to Portland. We take every opportunity we can to visit them. We always have such a great time with them. It’s a magical thing, when we are together it doesn’t feel like we have been living apart for almost 2 years.
Andrew recently accepted a new job and now they will be leaving their beloved Portland. In the midst of the stress of getting their house ready to sell and us visiting we took some time to do some family pictures. Jessica decided on The Portland Rose Garden, one of her favorite places in Portland. We were a few weeks too early for most of the roses to bloom, but the greenery was still breathtaking. I had a wonderful time chasing their kids around the park. It is something really nice about photographing people you know personally. I had no problem telling Trixie to stop looking grouchy or trying to get Oscar to laugh by telling him ridiculous jokes.
We are really sad that they are leaving Portland but so excited for the many adventures they will have in Spokane. Hopefully on day soon we will be sugar sharing neighbors in Liberty Lake.
