I am so excited to announce the arrival of the newest member of our family. I would like to introduce you to Jackson Daniel Shaw!
It is hard to believe that he is already a week old. He is such a sweet baby. It really is hard to imagine how we lived without him.
He arrived a week before his due date, which was a huge surprise because I have never had a baby come early before. Also, Eli and Logan’s births were 6 and 4 hours so we were expecting this baby to just fly right out, not the case. After over 20 hours of labor we finally talked him into coming out and meeting us. At 8 lbs 2 oz he is also are smallest baby. And the final surprise is that he has hair! I have always dreamed of having a baby with hair, but it has never happened for us before. It is redish blond, but looks like it is turning mostly blond. Seriously he is so handsome!
Eli and Logan were SO EXCITED to finally meet baby Jackson!
A few days later we went to the studio and tried to get some pictures. Holy cow, it was out of control. I didn’t get a single picture of Jackson by himself because he was so fussy. And the 2 older boys were absolute maniacs. I consider myself extremely luck to have gotten the pictures below. Jackson and I are going to try again by ourselves later this week.
